Born and raised in Perry, Larry is a graduate of The Westfield School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance. 

 

After graduating from UGA, Larry worked as a staff accountant for The Coca-Cola Company. He then held a position in management and sales at Walker-Rhodes Tractor Company, before leaving to start Walker Insurance Agency, which he founded in 1996.

 

Larry has long been active in the Middle Georgia community, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Methodist Home for Children and Morris Bank and the Board of Governors for the Museum of Aviation Foundation. He is past Chairman of the Perry Downtown Development Authority and Middle Georgia Technical College, and past Vice-Chairman of the Houston County Development Authority.  Larry is past president of the Perry Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and was named Perry Rotarian of the Year in 2004 and again in 2008.  In 2004, Houston County Magazine named Larry a top 10 leader under 40, and the Macon Telegraph listed him as one of 14 to watch in 2014. In 2015, Larry was elected to the Georgia State Senate, representing Bleckley, Houston, Laurens and Pulaski counties.  He is Vice-Chairman of the Senate Majority Caucus and serves on numerous Senate committees, including Insurance and Labor.

 

Larry and his wife of 34 years, Adrienne, are active in the Perry United Methodist Church. They reside in Kathleen and have three sons.

A native of Hawkinsville, Brince is a graduate of The Westfield School.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. Brince maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.

Brince is an active member of his community. He serves as a Commissioner on the City of Perry Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is also an active member of Perry United Methodist Church, serving as Chairman on the Church Finance Committee.

Brince joined Walker Insurance in 2014. After 5 successful years at Walker Insurance, Brince became Vice President and a Principal in the agency in 2019.

Brince resides in Perry with his wife, Laura Lyn and their two children, Harris and Cameron.

Liza received her Masters of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and began her career at Walker Insurance in 2013.

A native of Perry, she is a graduate of The Westfield School and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Georgia Southern University.

Liza is an active member of the Perry Lion’s Club and Perry Arts Group serving as Secretary and Chair of the annual Photography Show.

Liza maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property and Casualty.

Born and raised in Perry, Beth is a graduate of Perry High School. She maintains a Georgia Insurance license for Property and Casualty.

Beth began her insurance career in 1985 with Tuggle and Mosteller where she worked for 10 years. Throughout her career, she has worked in many different areas of the insurance industry from service roles within agencies to underwriting for insurance carriers. A previous employee of Walker Insurance, she rejoined the team in 2021.

Beth is an active member of her community and an active member of The Way Baptist Church where she serves as a teacher for the children’s Sunday School. She currently resides in Hawkinsville with her husband, Scott.  

Originally from Indiana, Julie relocated to Houston County from Cape Coral, Florida in 2006.

Julie received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Indiana University and began her insurance career in 1996. She maintains a Georgia Insurance License for Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance.  She joined the Walker Insurance team in 2023.

Julie enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and her two grandsons. She is an active member of Centerpoint Church.
