A few years ago, I bought a new car and decided to get new insurance quotes. I found that the insurance rates from Walker Insurance Agency were as good or better than any other quotes. On August 14, my wife and I were involved in a collision with a deer, resulting
in almost $11,000 damage to her vehicle. We contacted our local Auto Owners agent, Walker Insurance
in Perry, who put us directly in touch with the Auto Owners claims office in Macon. Both the claims
handler, Myles Liggin, and the field adjuster who came to look at the car, Stephen Beall, were very
helpful and professional.
The car was towed to Brannen Motor Company in Unadilla to be repaired. We were happy to learn that Auto
Owners allows genuine OEM parts (in our case, Ford) to be used to repair the vehicle. We understand that
some insurance companies will only pay for aftermarket parts. The car was repaired to like-new condition,
with the only cost to us being the collision deductible.
We have always been very satisfied with Larry Walker and his friendly staff at Walker Insurance for our auto
and home insurance needs. We appreciate doing business with local folks whenever possible, and our good
experience with Auto Owners confirms to us that they are indeed "the no problem people".
